Port Appin is a short scenic drive from either Oban or Fort William. The village, on the shores of Loch Linnhe, is 2.5 miles off the A828 road in Appin - that's the main road that runs between Oban (Argyll & Bute) and Fort William (Lochaber, West Highlands).
Follow signs for Port Appin off the A828 and keep going to the end of the road where you will find the pier with the carpark behind. You will pass the Appin Craft Shop (formerly Seahorse gift shop) on the way where our tickets are sold.

Facilities in Port Appin
Port Appin has a public car park and toilets as well as two hotels, The Airds Hotel and The Pierhouse Hotel and Seafood Restaurant - both have their own car parks for those eating or drinking there, both are highly recommended.
In and around the village there are also great walks, a small (free) lighthouse exhibition, a craft shop and small grocery store as well as cycle hire if you wish to make a day of it.
